1).....How  to  pack the  object into " Double Box  "  ?

               How  to  pack the  object?

The best way is to put it into "Double Box".For  those who doesn't know how to do it - please read some instructions bellow .

1)    Wrap in one/ two layer (s) of white non-acidic tissue paper to protect any decoration.
If you  send multiple broken parts its always the best to  wrap  each  of  them    separately into  white tissue paper  first  or plain kitchen towel .Please remember  -  No newspapers or similar  colored tissue  paper  with ink /colored dyes which may cause staining of the objects !
Excessive  use of sticky tapes should also be avoided by all means. You can use short  and narrow  stripes  sparingly   just to fixate the  paper  over  the paper   after  wrapping   over the body of the object. No  contact of the tape with the body of the object ,please, it may cause damage to the  loss of paint ,painted decorations or damage to the gilding.
2) Wrap the object   into at LEAST 2  layers of large  plastic air- bubble wrap ,which is usually available at your local post office .Wrap bubble wrap around the piece, and then layers over the top and bottom as well.
If you send any item that has some  parts  dangerously sticking out  like handles/ spouts  on china or hands /legs,wings …  etc.  of the figures - it's recommended to wrap those parts into  bubble wrap separately and to make a  compact   cardboard "shield" around them over the bubble wrap and  tape the  shield  securely with  stripes of the sticky tape to the bubble wrap tissue.
3)     Find a proper and sturdy cardboard  box that will leave at least 8 cm-or  three  inches (if it's a large item -  at least 10cm  ,or 4 inches) of room all around  place if you put  the wrapped item  inside of it .
Don't  use  soft/ thin walled ,fragile  or  initially  deformed   boxes  for  packing otherwise  the post  may simply  refuse to pay insurance in case of breakage .
4)     Fill bottom of box with   soft  6cm or 2"+ inch sized "popcorn" Styrofoam packing peanuts which are usually available at your local post office.
5)      Place  the  wrapped  object  centered in the box.
6)      Fill box completely full of  "popcorn" Styrofoam  peanuts , making sure that there is NO shifting once you've closed the box.
Don't just dump peanuts in the box, put the layer in the bottom, and as you fill the box, pat the peanuts down, so the piece doesn't shift inside the box....if you hear peanuts move once the box is sealed, the popcorn is not compressed enough.
7)     Find a cardboard  box with  reasonably thick walls  that will leave at least 5cm or  2 inches of room all around once you place the first box into it. .
Get some thin dowel rod, cut it to size, and use it to reinforce the four long sides of the box. Tape it in place.
8)     Repeat steps  4- 6 with the first box.

After Restoration I will  usually  send your item  back to  you  in your original  package on  condition  that  the boxes will  still  be  in good shape to  provide  reasonable safety for trip back. .Otherwise,if you wish so, you will have to pay extra for packaging materials .So please ,pack them well.
