..The thing looked really ugly at that stage..

The Girl is really sweet when met in person...I don't think I would have a chance to get her so easily if there were Meissen's swords on the base .....

Sorry for these annoyingly ugly watermarks, people. But that's a necessity these days..

...Several thin layers of appropriate water/thiner based paints tinted with pigments applied with airbrush in sequence. Depending on the nature of the paints, each layer takes from about 15 minutes to full 6 hours to dry out completely and to be covered over with the next layer again... Finally lacquer based topcoat will be applied on top to get hard and glossy finish..

.... Manual shaping of a trunk like that is a complicated ,multistage process .. . Sculpturing -modeling ,cutting, engraving ,grinding, polishing ,etc.. It took about 6 hours to complete it.. One of a kind. The one and only, original trunk of an old and curvy Oak - tree .As I saw it .. Total height of the tree after restoration - about 15cm ...

Each leaf is about 2cm long and 5 mm wide at the widest point...

..After casting each leaf should be worked on individually ... Manual process takes time and involves .... Removing excessive plastic,bending, shaping, grinding, polishing...
