Creating the Plume. From the images I found I got the idea how the thing looked like … and got some clues about the dimensions of the thing just like in case with the rifle. I figured out the right scale and … I used my own design and modeling technique here… I took a nail and stuck it into the body of the "plume" made of the paste I use for modeling… Carved the surface in a definite way using some mini-tools I have… After the thing set hard I sprayed it some primer first and …
P.S. Plume ?! I 'm not sure if that's the right name of that thing in English…BTW - Don't judge my English seriously for it's just one of three languages I speak ,read and write every day here.. My first language is Russian,English goes as the second ,Swedish as third.. I can also read and understand the texts written in Danish,Norwegian and basic German.. :)

Restoring the hanger of the sable. Delicate small part was not so easy to be recreated to look like original , because of its delicacy and limited access to that particular area. Special miniature tools used. The surface was smoothed, painted .The thing is just one centimeter long and 2,5 mm wide..
... The view of the completely restored parts :the butt, the corner of the blanket ,the sable with its hanger , securely attached .From different angles. Looks smart … ?
...Here, the rifle complete . Visually absolutely undetectable restoration. Full Match in color and form...In theory can be made undetectable even under UV light … Sings like true porcelain if tapped gently with a fingernail..Will last for many decades to come..
The sheath is being worked on. The images I found helped me once again to make it look right. It nad to be attached without any contact with the belly of the stallion, of course.. I'm not sure if it looks exactly as it should ,but anyway - there is nothing to compare it with …
The missing spur needed some attention as well . I made a mini- mold of the second undamaged spur ,about 7 mm long ,seen on the other boot of the horseman. Made a mini -cast using special material suitable for the task and attached it to the place..
