Costs and Payment Details ...
I accept payments in Swedish kronas.
Bank transfer is preferable way of payment from the citizens of EU.
PayPal money transfers are acceptable from oversees clients only.
The clients will be provided with my Bank account/PayPal relevant information by E-mail.
Only the client can value the object for the history, culture and personal associations it represents.
The value of an object does in no way change the time taken for the repair.
The actual restoration costs is determined by Intensity of labor required ,application of expensive materials and special equipment .You will pay for very specialized and professional services that involve a lot of manual work and often require many working hours.
An estimate for restoration work given by me as the Conservator/Restoration is open for acceptance by the Client for a period of two months failing which it may be revised.
A deposit of up to 50 % may be asked from the client in all cases when the restoration work is initially anticipated to be labor and time consuming and expensive .The rule is applied when the actual costs for restoration services exceed 2000 Swedish Kronas.
I will always try to keep the final price chargeable to the Client within initial estimate (plus any agreed additional costs) but I reserve the right to increase the price above the estimate where the work required proves to be greater and/or more time consuming than I originally anticipated. The client will always be informed where this is the case.
All restored objects will have returned post + insurance and handling (unpacking, repacking )costs applied.
